While we are multi-industry in nature, we make concentrated investments in a select group of promising businesses committing capital but, more importantly, time and experience to leaders who are passionate about taking their businesses to the next level.
Entrepreneurial Approach
At its core, TEKNORT is formed and governed by entrepreneurs, not “financiers.” We are business owners and previous executives in companies of varying sizes and stages of development and have built an inherent sense of relating to business leadership.
We also have deep knowledge on how to systematically grow businesses through organic and/or additional M&A related initiatives. While we use multiple financing sources, our partners also invest personally in every transaction, fully aligning interests with our management partners.
Process
In evaluating our investments, we first work with you to develop a plan (Strategic Growth Plan), which will outline scenarios and multiple options for growth for your business. Among other analysis, this plan will include a review of key industry trends and best practices, strength of the value proposition, business objectives and leadership ambitions, financial performance, and investment needs. The Strategic Growth Plan is then reviewed with you and your management team, helping all parties involved to attain the necessary buy-in and confidence as well as the focus to deliver against targets with enthusiasm.
We believe it is critical to put “pen to paper” and offer you, at minimum, the analytical work and structured planning your business deserves.
